Malaysia’ longest running bird watching event has concluded their 31st year and here are the Fraser’s Hill International Bird Race 2018 results. The event took place at its home ground in Bukit Fraser or Fraser’s Hill in the state of Pahang from 30th March to 1st April 2018.
Fraser’s Hill is also home to over 250 species of birds which provides a cool temperature climate due to its elevation on a mountainous area. Over three decades, thousands of bird watchers from all over the world have visited Fraser’s Hill to spot some of the amazing birds here.
Results for Fraser’s Hill International Bird Race 2018
The results were calculated and announced on the final day of the bird race on the 1st of April 2018. For this year’s race, a total of 52 teams took part, with three members to a team. There were also team from six countries around Asia that took part in the race.
This year’s Fraser’s Hill Bird Race Arbitrators are also members of the Malaysia Nature Society or MNS and have been actively participating and contributing in the bird race for a long time. They are;

This birding event is brought to you by Pahang Tourism in collaboration with the Malaysia Nature Society (MNS). This is a yearly event which has taken place for the last 31 years and is Malaysia’s oldest bird watching event.
There are also many other bird watching events and bird races held throughout Malaysia where it is open to local and international participants. You can see them in this list of bird watching events in Malaysia which highlights all of them.
Most of the bird races of festivals are held all over Malaysia, and some of them in the state of Sabah an Sarawak on the island of Borneo. The largest festival to take place in Malaysia is no other than the Borneo Bird Race in Sandakan, Sabah which is organized by the Sandakan Borneo Bird Club and Sabah Tourism Board.
