Malaysia’s longest-running birdwatching event has concluded its 31st year, and here are the Fraser’s Hill International Bird Race 2018 results. The event occurred at its home in Bukit Fraser or Fraser’s Hill in Pahang from 30 March to 1 April 2018.

Fraser’s Hill is also home to over 250 species of birds. Due to its elevation in a mountainous area, it provides a cool climate. Over the past three decades, thousands of bird watchers from around the world have visited Fraser’s Hill to spot some fantastic birds.

Results for Fraser’s Hill International Bird Race 2018

The results were calculated and announced on the final day of the bird race, 1 April 2018. For this year’s race, 52 teams participated, with three members in each group. Teams from six countries around Asia also participated.

This year’s Fraser’s Hill Bird Race Arbitrators are also members of the Malaysia Nature Society or MNS and have been actively participating and contributing to the bird race for a long time. They are;

Conclusion

This birding event is brought to you by Pahang Tourism in collaboration with the Malaysia Nature Society (MNS). It has been held annually for the past 31 years and is Malaysia’s oldest birdwatching event.
There are also birdwatching events and bird races held throughout Malaysia, open to local and international participants. Malaysia’s list of birdwatching events highlights them.
Most bird race festivals are held all over Malaysia, and some are in the states of Sabah and Sarawak on the island of Borneo. The largest festival in Malaysia is the Borneo Bird Race in Sandakan, Sabah, organized by the Sandakan Borneo Bird Club and Sabah Tourism Board.
