Global BirdFair 2024 will occur from 12-14 July in Rutland, United Kingdom, but at a new venue, the Lyndon Top Caravan Park. This is the world’s largest bird fair annually in the UK. Those in the birding industry, from tour guides, birdwatching equipment and tourism boards from worldwide, will be here.
If you have never been to this bird fair in the UK, this is your chance to visit and experience the biggest bird fair in the world. A lot is happening here; you can get information about worldwide birding from various birding companies.
Global BirdFair 2024
Every year, this British Bird Fair will take place in Rutland, where it was once known as the Rutland BirdFair, but after the pandemic in 2022, it was rebranded to Global BirdFair. This unique birding fair attracts thousands of birders, bird photographers and nature lovers to this part of England.
Previously, I wrote about Global BirdFair 2022 and BirdFair 2023, where I shared some information about the Sabah Tourism Board from Borneo Malaysia, which participates yearly in Rutland, UK.
Global BirdFair 2024 Tickets
Global BirdFair tickets are available to book online starting February 2024, and the organisers advise people to please try to buy tickets in advance.
- Three-day pass: £40.00 early bird price, £45.00 standard price.
- One-day pass: £15.00 early bird price, £16.00 standard price.
- Family Sunday tickets (2 adults and up to 4 children) £22.00 early bird, £25.00 standard price.
- Reduced prices for students.
- Under 18’s FREE with a paying adult.
- Carer tickets.
- There is a cashless payment system for ticket sales at the gates.
- Programmes can be bought in advance with your tickets & collected on your arrival at Global Birdfair by providing your Programme voucher.

New Location for the BirdFair Venue
The new location is situated close to Rutland Water, and the organisers have found a fantastic new site offering Global Birdfair space for visitors and exhibitors to enjoy gathering together. There is also easy access to Rutland Water and the Lyndon Nature Reserve by foot.
There is also free car parking on site for everyone. Please follow directions to the site – AA road signs and personnel will be on-site to guide visitors driving here. The event area and car parking areas are on grass surfaces.
