Fraser's Hill Bird Photography Contest 2024

There will be a bird photography contest 2024 at Fraser’s Hill during this year’s international bird race from 8-9 June. This is an active event that runs with the bird race, where the photographers will join as individuals.

The bird race also attracts local and international participants who spend 24 hours from Saturday to Sunday, moving around Fraser’s Hill to capture some of the best bird photos for the Fraser’s Bird Photography Contest.

Right now, there is not much information available for the bird photo contest, but once I get it, I will edit and share it here. Namely the registration forms and the prizes for the bird photography contest. Again, this is an individual contest, where just one person will move around the event area and photograph the birds to be submitted.

For the general event, please see my main Fraser’s Hill International Bird Race 2024 article, done in November 2023. We at Birdwatching Asia have been promoting all the birding events around Malaysia for free and have been doing it since 2018.

We have been encouraging the organisers and supporters of birding events in Malaysia to work with us. Still, sometimes, some people have different views, which results in a lack of communication and, thus, not sending the correct information to the general public. Most of the time, the information is given very late, and by that time, many interested may not be able to attend.

There are only a handful of birdwatching events, races and festivals in Malaysia, and the Fraser’s Hill Bird Race is one of them. You can also view the many other bird watching events in Malaysia that are spread yearly.
