It looks like the Panti Bird Race 2024 is confirmed and will be held at the end of April at the Panti Forest in Johor. This is excellent news for the southern birders and those from across the border in Singapore.
Panti Bird Race 2024
As an inaugural test, the first Panti Bird Race was held in November of 2023 to see if it was viable to host an open birding event here in Johor. The test bird race was conducted with a small group of invited participants.
Due to the results in 2023, the organisers have concluded and proceeded with the first Johor bird race by offering three categories for everyone. They are;
- Novice Category – 3 Persons per team
- Advanced Category – 3 Persons per team
- Bird Photography Race – 2 Persons per team
The entry fee per person is RM50 for Malaysians and RM100 for international participants.
