Conclusion
Globally, birding tourism contributes between 10% and 30% to the overall tourism economy. Malaysia currently ranks 4th in Asia as a premier birdwatching destination, following China, India, and Thailand.
With the steadfast support of the Pahang State Government, we remain firmly committed to the preservation of Fraser’s Hill’s unique biodiversity and the continued promotion of sustainable nature tourism in the region.
Finally, Birdwatching Asia extends its sincere appreciation to Tourism Pahang for the opportunity to participate in the 36th edition of Malaysia’s longest-running birding event. We are also grateful for the warm hospitality extended throughout and for the ease of creating the Fraser’s Hill International Bird Race 2025 winners list.
We look forward to the 37th Fraser’s Hill International Bird Race, anticipated to take place around the same period next year. Until then, happy birding to all!
