October 2025 was an exciting month for us at Birdwatching Asia. Firstly, we were invited to attend the inaugural Global Wildlife Fair held in Delhi from 10 – 12 October. Not only that, but it was also our inaugural event, as it was the first time we had a booth at an event like this. Secondly, immediately after the event, we were invited to participate in a 7-day tour around Gujarat. We spent a total of 12 eventful days in India. Needless to say, the memories of our experience at the Global Wildlife Fair 2025 will last a lifetime.
Birdwatching Asia at the Global Wildlife Fair 2025
This article is a simple photo essay illustrating what we experienced as participants at the Global Wildlife Fair 2025. No bird or wildlife photos on this one. Rather, this article will focus on the people we met and the places we visited instead. Instead of long paragraphs, I’ll let the photos do the talking – with captions of course!
Global Wildlife Fair 2025 event days
The Global Wildlife Fair 2025 were held at the Constitution Club of India, not far from the famous India Gate in downtown New Delhi. In addition to the exhibition halls, we also attended the opening dinner and various talks and events during the 3 days.

Birding at Lodhi Gardens
It wouldn’t be Birdwatching Asia without some birding involved! On the mornings of 10 and 11 October, we participated in birding at the Lodhi Gardens, not far from the Constitution Club. These outings were organised as part of the Global Wildlife Fair 2025, and were guided by two of the most eminent Delhi-based birders.

Some of the exhibition booths at the Global Wildlife Fair 2025
The exhibitors at the Global Wildlife Fair 2025 included tour companies, conservation organisations, optics & camera companies, photographers, artists, nature-based merchandise and more.

Global Wildlife Fair 2025 – post event tour
The day after the event concluded, we were off to Ahmedabad to start a 7-day familiarisation tour around Gujarat. Our experiences during this tour can be summed up in one word: amazing!

Meeting friends, old and new
Perhaps the best thing to come out of us attending the Global Wildlife Fair 2025 was the people that we met. Some of these we were already friends with or got acquainted with during previous events. But we also met so many more new faces and made many new friends over the 12 days we were in India.

Heading home
Twelve days absolutely zipped by, and before we realised, it was time to pack up the bags and head back to Kuala Lumpur. Of course, the bag ended up a little bit heavier, with all the merchandise I bought!

Conclusion
The Global Wildlife Fair 2025 was a massive success. We had an unforgettable time attending the event and meeting so many like-minded people. Hopefully, we will be able to participate in the next edition, which will be held from 30th October until 1 November 2026, at the Travancore Palace in Delhi.
To close off this article, we would also like to extend our gratitude to the following people/organisations, because without them, our visit to the Global Wildlife Fair 2025 wouldn’t have been as rewarding or even possible in the first place.
- Mr Mohit Aggarwal, founder of the Global Wildlife Fair and director of Asian Adventures.
- Asian Adventures & their amazingly friendly and dedicated personnel.
- Gujarat Tourism
- All the friends (old & new) we met at the event.
And finally, we at Birdwatching Asia would like to congratulate everyone involved in the organisation and execution of this event. A challenging task, but in the end it was a job well done! We have no doubt next year’s event will be similarly (if not more) successful.
