The Asian Bird Fair 2025 Seosan will take place from 31 October to 3 November at Seosan Birdland, about two hours south of Seoul. This location, also known as Seosan Cheonsuman Bay, is highly popular among birders and bird photographers.

This year’s theme is “Coexistence of Humans and Nature”, and Seosan Cheonsuman Bay was selected as the venue because it is a well-known global wintering stopover site for migratory birds. Over 300,000 birds visit this site annually, and over 220 species of birds have been documented in this area.
The Seosan Birdland venue is unique and has most likely never been seen elsewhere. The designers of this place put in a lot of effort to make it convenient for visitors to access everything in the area: a museum, indoor and outdoor viewing areas, a theatre, and even a wildlife treatment centre.
Judging from the main map provided, everything is interconnected, and you need not leave the main venue area unless you are heading back to the hotel. Seosan Birdland is also walkable, and if you require a ride, the management also has areas where special electric minibuses will ferry visitors to various points.

How to Get to the Asian Bird Fair 2025?
For those who sign up for the Asian Bird Fair, travelling arrangements will be sorted out with you. For those who plan on attending by themselves, Seosan is about a two-hour drive south of Seoul, and you need to drive there as there are no train connections here, only by bus or self-drive.
If you plan to travel earlier to do birdwatching in South Korea before heading to the Asian Bird Fair, I recommend you make prior arrangements for both hotel and transportation.
