Here is the winners list for the Angsi Bird Race 2024, held at Taman Eko Rimba Ulu Bendul in Negeri Sembilan, Malaysia, on September 28th and 29th, 2024. This was the first Bird Race held in the Malaysian State of Negeri Sembilan. The Negeri Sembilan Forestry Department organized the event in collaboration with some NGOs.
During the event, there were two categories for competition: the Open Category and the Student Category. The organizers of the event have indicated that they will look into making the Negeri Sembilan Bird Race an annual event. There are considerations to make this a highlight event in conjunction with ‘Visit Negeri Sembilan Year 2026’. As a result, we look forward to bird races being held in the state in the upcoming two years.
Winners List of the Angsi Bird Race 2024
The Angsi Bird Race prize-giving ceremony was held at around 2.00 pm with a simple ceremony. The event was graced by Muhammad Sufian Maradzi, the State Legislative Assembly (DUN) member of Seri Menanti, who was the Guest of Honor. The ceremony included speeches, visits to the exhibitors, and a tree-planting ceremony in line with a campaign by the Forestry Department to plant more trees in the state.

- 2nd Place – The Punai’s (48 species)
- 3rd Place – Panti Bird Sanctuary (47 species)
Student Category Winners
- Winner – Rohanians (30 species)
- 2nd Place – Seri Kandi (29 species)
- 3rd Place – Semuja Aviary Explore (28 species)
