Thai Bird Fair Bangkok

The 18th Thailand Bird Fair 2023 is an event organized by the Bird Conservation Society of Thailand (BCST) and provides an educational platform for urban people to connect with surrounding nature.

This birding event in Thailand also involves designing activities and collaborating with environmental organizations to raise awareness about the importance and urgency of conservation efforts. Overall, the event is designed to encourage people’s understanding and appreciation of the need for nature conservation.

This year’s theme is “Living in Harmony: Birds and Human Co-Existence”. It is where “Birds and Human Co-Existence: the Connection and coexistence between Humans and birds. Regardless of gender or age, you can live together with birds.”

The birding event will also be held from 11-12 November at Queen Sirikit Park, next to Bangkok’s world-famous Chatuchak Market. This park is also shared with another well-known park called Rot Fai Park.

Visitors and birders coming here will see a good mixture of vendors from various conservation networks in Thailand. There will also be other vendors selling merchandise and many other items.

Recently, in February 2023, I had the pleasure of visiting Bangkok for some other work and found time to explore a few of the parks for birding. I did some birdwatching at Benchakitty Park one morning.

Another morning, I went and did some birdwatching at Lumphini Park, which was equally enjoyable as there were not many people around at about 6:00 AM at the park area, just a few people exercising. I have not done the article, but I will link it here once I get it done.

Thailand Bird Fair Activities List
